Ronald McDonald House Charities secured another great partnership this past August. RMHC partnered with the Kellogg Company to provide breakfast to families staying at one of 144 Ronald McDonald House's in the United States.

The announcement of this partnership took place at the Ronald McDonald House closest to Lurie Children Hospital in Chicago and featured RMHC CEO Sheila Musolino, Kellogg's Away from Home President Wendy Davidson and Tony the Tiger, the beloved Kellogg's mascot.

The partnership between RMHC and Kellogg's is an extension of Kellogg's Better Days program. This program partners with organizations to support various worldwide communities. The Kellogg's program has grown over the last five years providing 2.5 billion servings of food globally. They also kept giving during the COVID-19 pandemic, donating close to $17 million in food and funds to support hunger relief efforts due to the virus.

"Kellogg's Away From Home and RMHC share a commitment to providing resources and support to families around the world, so they can stay near their child during treatment" said Musolino, according to the Daily Herald

RMHC and Kellogg's essentially share the same mission: to provide for families in need. In 2019, RMHC helped families save $935 million in food and lodging costs as well as providing more than 2.6 million overnight stays.

With this partnership coming during the COVID-19 pandemic, it helps Ronald McDonald House not only to generate more exposure but become a key organization for providing relief to families as many volunteer programs have closed during the pandemic.
